As of Friday, April 3, its latest rule comes into play – members will only be allowed to bring one guest with them when they shop at any Costco store around the US. Previously, members could bring two guests with them and any kids they have.

Keep in mind that guests cannot shop or pay for items, only Costco members are entitled to this benefit. Your guests are welcome to sign up for a membership at any time, they can do this at the membership counter or online.
Non-members can purchase from Costco’s website, Costco. Com, at any time. There is a downside, however: If you are not a member, you will be charged a 5% surcharge over posted prices for members (except for prescription drugs).

And if all those benefits weren’t enough, Costco is also generous with perks. According to an employee interview with Yahoo! Life, store workers get a free Costco membership and “a free turkey to enjoy with their families on Thanksgiving.” It pays to work at Costco!
