In partnership with West. Rock, the company who makes their pizza boxes, Domino’s has launched a recycling-oriented website to remind people that yes, you can recycle pizza boxes.
Don’t trash your Domino’s pizza boxes! Here’s how to recycle them Domino’s, one of the largest pizza companies in the world based on global retail sales, wants to see customers recycle their pizza boxes. Today, the company and its primary box supplier, West. Rock, are launching recycling., and dominos. Com – a website to share the facts about box recycling.
Although empty corrugated pizza boxes are technically recyclable, many programs do not accept them yet or the local guidelines are not clear. The paper, recycling and pizza industries are coming together to get recycling programs to accept empty corrugated pizza boxes and to make sure their guidelines clearly state that they are accepted!
This of course begs the question “What percentage of Domino’s packaging is recycled?”
Together with West. Rock earlier in 2020, Domino’s increased the recycled content in its boxes from 40% to 72%. The company recognises the importance of not just recycling and using recycled content, but also the importance of planting trees.

What kind of chicken does Domino’s use?
To its credit, Domino’s uses rationally sized chicken wings , rather than those steroid-jacked monster wings that taste great until you realize they must have come from a toddler-sized chicken.
Does domino’s have wings?
Although most chicken wings are deep-fried, Domino’s actually offers baked chicken wings , making it a healthy Domino’s menu item you wouldn’t normally expect. Instead of frying in oil, Domino’s wings are baked in their pizza ovens and placed in a small corrugated box, resulting in a less soggy wing post-delivery.
The human brain simply refuses to encode the memory of these lackluster wings. Honey BBQ wings in general are very rarely extraordinary, though, so in this case, Domino’s has nothing to apologize for. If you like the store-brand honey barbecue sauce at the supermarket, you’ll have no quarrel with this chicken. Would I order these again ?
Fact is, Domino’s does six kinds of chicken wings in four sizes: eight-piece, 10-piece, 16-piece, and 32-piece. And they’re all oven-baked to perfection. Plain may be in their name, but Domino’s Plain Wings are anything but. They are super delicious when dipped in Sweet Mango Habanero, Honey BBQ, Hot Buffalo Sauce, Blue Cheese, or Ranch.
At Domino’s, the experience of eating pizza and wings just got a whole lot better. The pizza chain surprised fans this weekend by announcing its “new and improved” wings and sauces. The bone-in wings now come in three all-new sauces: hot buffalo, honey barbecue, and garlic parmesan .
