Over time they’ve kept their standards while becoming much more competitive with pricing . They have the nicest stores. An old Publix is more cramped than a new one but it isn’t any dirtier. They maintain their stuff like no one else in the business. Walking into a 50 or 60 year old Publix is like time travel.
