Tipping is not usually required at fast food restaurants. There are valid points both for and against tipping at Sonic. Internet searches appear to suggest that the food delivery employees at Sonic do not expect tips, but certainly appreciate them.
I’m curious because Sonic seems to basically be a drive-thru that you can park in, and it’s not considered normal to tip someone at a Mc, and donald’s. UPDATE: I appreciate all your responses.
I tip at the Starbucks that I go to roughly 5X a week. Once you become a regular AND a tipper they have your coffee ready for you exactly how you like it before you even get to the counter. I’ve also gotten other freebies and preferential treatment.
