Do domino’s do gluten free?

Domino’s has made an effort to offer a gluten-free crust and a lot of different ingredients to choose from when making a pizza choice. They also have some sides and sauces to choose from as well. We only wish they offered their gluten-free crust in a size other than small.

They have many gluten free wing options, salads, and sauces as well for sides, along with most toppings. However, dominos has stated that even though the gluten free crust is manufactured by another company in a gluten free facility, their current operational model cannot for sure prevent the risk of exposure.

Domino’s gluten free bases are made by Schär in a controlled, 100% gluten free facility, and brought into store in sealed pouches. Team members all undergo training on how to prepare gluten free foods. There are also separate preparation stations and ingredients ONLY for use on gluten free pizzas.

Up until now, it’s been a bit of a mystery. But recently, Domino’s have now started advertising that they’ll be using Schar gluten-free pizza bases. Domino’s get these pre-made and packaged from Schar, meaning they don’t need to make them from dough, nor do they need to be rolled in flour etc.

Because while the Schär gluten free pizza base used at Domino’s is vegan – all of the vegan pizza options contain wheat. There is no option on the menu which is gluten free AND vegan, and you cannot customise the orders on the app or website to even swap for dairy free cheese.

The Domino’s gluten free flour blend includes white rice flour, brown rice flour, and potato flour. Other ingredients include water, olive oil, yeast, honey, and salt. Our gluten free pizza crust is also dairy free.
